Using a forward-facing camera, radar sensors, and navigation data, the available system can assist with maintaining a predetermined speed and distance from the vehicle detected ahead of you in certain circumstances. The system can assist with steering wheel control when changing lanes (activated by the turn signal) with a one-touch button setting for speed.
Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control w/ Stop & Go
The standard system can help maintain a predetermined following distance from the vehicle detected ahead, adjust the driving speed, and can even bring the vehicle to a complete stop and start again within 3 seconds of stopping in certain circumstances. This feature can also adapt to changing speed limits and upcoming curves in certain circumstances.
Auto Emergency Braking Technologies
Standard Auto Emergency Braking w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist, & Intersection Turning Detection technology uses a front radar and camera to scan the road ahead for potential hazards while available Junction Crossing technology scans for vehicles in front that may be approaching from the left or right sides. Both are designed to alert the driver or, in certain circumstances, automatically apply the brakes to help prevent a collision.
